2. Fees and Payment

Payments are due according to the schedule agreed upon with the client (e.g., monthly, per project, or upon completion).

Late payments may incur additional fees, as specified in your engagement agreement.

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

Provide accurate and complete financial information and documentation.

Respond promptly to requests for clarification or additional information.

Maintain records of original financial documents, receipts, and invoices.

4. Confidentiality

We take the confidentiality of your financial information seriously.

Client data is only shared with authorized personnel and used for the purpose of providing bookkeeping, payroll services, and related services.

We do not share your information with third parties without your consent, unless required by law.

5. Limitations

Healdsburg Bookkeeping provides bookkeeping, payroll services, and guidance for tax preparation. 

We do not provide legal advice, investment advice, or act as your tax preparer unless explicitly agreed in writing.

Clients are responsible for final financial decisions, filings, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

6. Termination

Either party may terminate the engagement with written notice.

Outstanding fees for work completed prior to termination remain payable.

All client records will be returned or securely destroyed as agreed.

7. Liability

Healdsburg Bookkeeping strives for accuracy and reliability, but we are not responsible for losses resulting from client errors, incomplete information, or misuse of our services.

Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the services in question.

8. Changes to Terms

Healdsburg Bookkeeping reserves the right to update these terms at any time.

Clients will be notified of significant changes via email or website update. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate jurisdiction within Sonoma County, CA.
